This week’s stories are from Artist Walonda Williams:

While attending Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, Walonda was mentored by three powerful artists. Carla Harryman offered otherworldly perspective through creative writing. Ron Allen disintegrated conventional knowledge. He insisted that she write, using organic processes and relax into her instinct. Professor Glenda Dickerson led her to spiritualize and personalize performance. Through her writing, performances and theatrical productions; she commits to unleashing marginalized voices.

The Main Street Comedy Show is a popular event and reservations are strongly recommended.
