November 10th our guest storyteller is professional dancer Amber Robins:
Amber Robins is a professional dancer, choreographer, community engagement associate at the Herberger Theater Center, and teacher in Arizona. She earned her BA in dance from Arizona State University and graduated with her master’s degree in clinical nutrition. Amber is an adjunct professor of dance for Mesa Community College and at studios around the valley. Her professional dance career includes choreographing and dancing at festivals all around the Southwest United States, dancing in the corps de ballet in Savannah, Georgia, was the principal dancer for Center Dance Ensemble (CDE) for 24 years, and is now starting her own modern company, Center Dance Core. Recently she was hired by the Herberger Theater Center and is part of the community engagement department which helps showcase local talent at no cost community performances and helps bring educational arts outreach programs to young people from ages 5-19.
