The Main Street Comedy Show featuring Joanie Colson

The Main Street Comedy Show is a delightful mix of storytelling and improv comedy that you do not want to miss! Each show features a guest Storyteller who will delight and amuse the audience with anecdotes from their lives, after which the performers create spontaneous comedy inspired by these tales!

This Week’s guest is Joanie Colson:

After graduating from Moon Valley High, this Arizona native attended Grand Canyon College (now University) and went on to teach theatre at Horizon High School for 30 years.  Her comedy team was involved in the NCTHSIL where they garnered a number of state championships. She now teaches Theatre Education and Improvisation at GCU along with directing the occasional musical. She is currently the coach for GCU’s improv team, The Cantalopes.

Living in the same neighborhood in which she grew up, Joanie is married to Rick, has one wonderful son, one dog, and four chickens.
