Improv Classes in Phoenix Just Started — Come Watch the Teachers Take the Stage

If you have been circling improv classes in Phoenix without signing up, this is a good fortnight to pay attention. Our current session is already underway — Intro to Improv on Tuesdays, Short Form and Performance on Wednesdays, the Process Lab on Sunday afternoons — which means the rooms are full and the work is happening right now, a light rail ride from central Phoenix.

But the reason to circle a date is Thursday. On September 10, the people who run those rooms stop teaching for one night and get on a stage together. It is called the Teachers Show, it comes around maybe a couple of times a year, and it is the single most useful night on our calendar for anyone still deciding whether to take a class.
